Grayson is a PhD student in the Department of Forestry, and an MS student in the Department of Statistics & Probability at Michigan State University. He has research interests in small area estimation, Bayesian modeling, spatial statistics, and understanding forests via novel statistical techniques and remote sensing technologies. Further, Grayson is passionate about teaching and communicating concepts in statistics and forestry to undergraduates, and statistical software development.
